The Tale of The Unique Molecular Bubble That is The Color of Fire
By Angellina Earley

Did you know that we have billions of molecular bubbles stored in the deepest pit of our stomachs?

Inside these molecules are secrets for our lives. Secrets that we can not hear for years to come. In the night, we release one molecular bubble per breath. Thousands are released every night.

They slowly drift until landing on the very tip of our hair. They cover us and help to keep us warm. When we wake, we disturb their comfort and they flutter around us.

Quickly and instinctually, we gather in handfuls those that help us grow. Not grow in height, but grow as people. Those that we manage to gather stay with us throughout the day.

Usually we forget about them by noon because they whisper their secrets in a language foreign to us(at that specific time). Yet, they stick around and quietly shape our days.

Only one night in our lives, usually when we are quite young, we release a unique molecular bubble that travels through the night sky. It is an especially strong bubble.

Scientists say that it is the color of fire. They have made many attempts to decipher its secrets. All they can manage is four letters that they jumbled around for decades and first came up with E-V-O-L (this is where we got the word evolve). But they were indecisive and liked their second guess better L-O-V-E

Now back to the molecule traveling through the night sky…It lands on one of the hairs of your one true love. And that same night, your one true love's unique molecular bubble lands on one of your hairs.

Of course, it stands out amongst the rest. It stays with us longer than that rest. It may stick with us for years and years until we ourselves find our one true love.

For all those years, it keeps the sparkle in our eyes through many many confusing not-so-true loves. Sometimes it cries and gets exhausted because those not-so-true loves shrivel up and sometimes kill thousands of other molecular grow bubbles. When this happens, it has to work extra hard to keep us growing inside.

Yet the unique molecular bubble is strong and persistent and continues to slowly and secretly lead us in the direction of our one true love.

As for the other molecular bubbles, we continue to release them in the night. When you sleep next to your one true love they tend to get jumbled together. But this is ok because in handfuls we gather those that help us grow individually and also those that help us grow together.

The paintings and sketches in this collection are direct reflections of these molecular bubbles.

Hold them in handfuls,
Angellina Earley.

Scientific note: Scientists say that all that activity in our breaths in the night is also the reason for doody breath in the morning. They are also considering getting rid of the word LOVE altogether because nowadays some people don't use it correctly. They think that simply using the word EVOLVE instead may get humans to take it more seriously.
